South Carolina Native, JD Harrison, is the Creator and owner of CR8 (pronounced “crate”) Sustainable Furnishings and Studio H Designs. As an innovator, his years of experience as a designer and artist, he now brings new life into recycled wood and metal, transforming them into showcase pieces that have been featured in homes and local business establishments.
Located in Greenville, South Carolina JD has an appreciation for not only the mediums in which he uses but also the classic tools which he so eloquently appreciates in their historical value
Probably like most artists, JD is more comfortable showcasing his work rather than himself. Standing here holding his Grandfathers level he told me the story of how he accidentally severed off part of his finger while using his table saw and stayed calm all the way to the hospital. He jokingly mentioned he can use his table saw and that part of his finger never gets in the way.
