Bradford Watermelon Sangria

Yes, it is just like me to bring home a vintage, thought to be lost melon and turn it into a celebration!

Pure happiness in a glass…it is super smooth and goes down way.too.easy.

If I invited you over tonight and you declined, no worries.

There was more for me!

So get yourself a BRADFORD WATERMELON, and have your own celebration!

INGREDIENTS:

12 Cups cubed seeded, Bradford Watermelon

1 bottle dry white wine

1 cup vodka

1/2 cup triple sec

1/2 cup simple syrup

1 medium lime, quartered

1 orange, cut into wedges

1 cup fresh blueberries

DIRECTIONS:

Place 9 cups of watermelon in the blender and blend on high until very smooth.  Strain the juice through a mesh strainer into a large pitcher.  Pour in wine, vodka, triple sec, and simple syrup into the pitcher.  Stir to combine.  (Do a happy dance, this is going to be good.) Mix the remaining 3 cups of watermelon cubes, orange sections, lime quarters and the blueberries into the sangria.  Chill for 4 hours before drinking it all!

Cheers!
