From the first night we brought home this sweet boy we have had no such thing as a silent night. For the better part of two years my little baby (now dinosaur loving toddler) would never sleep through the night. I would hear friend after friend tell me how their little one would start sleeping through the night at 3 months, 4 weeks, 2 days, and on and on. I knew that babies had their own needs and it would come in tine. Two years was a pretty long time though. He didn’t need anything really when he woke. Some times a drink of water or just a reassuring hug then right back to sleep he went. But not for me, I was up for hours after settling him back down making my days very long and exhausting.
As I mentioned a couple posts back we introduced Young Living Essential Oils into our life and one of the many amazing life changing gifts they brought us was a sound solid full night sleep…for everyone. I started using both Lavender and Cedarwood on everyone’s feet at night. Yup, on the feet (their big toe to be exact) and they sleep… ALL night long! It is nothing short of another little miracle to our family.
